Nine of 10 candidates for Buncombe County School Board debated issues ranging from the board’s oversight of system administrators to the development of the budget at a debate held Sept. 24 at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College.

The forum, organized by the League of Women Voters of Asheville and Buncombe County, was moderated by Jerri Jamison, news director at Clear Channel Asheville.
