Two candidates seeking to represent the eastern portion of Buncombe County in the N.C. House of Representatives responded to voter question on Oct. 8 during a forum held in Black Mountain. Among items up for discussion: environmental regulations, women’s health, Medicaid funding and funding for education. Read the story here.

The forum, presented below in its entirety, was organized by the League of Women Voters for Asheville and Buncombe County, which has coordinated a series of events highlighting local candidates for Buncombe County offices and N.C.
