Gov. Pat McCrory declared on Wednesday a state of emergency in Graham, Jackson and Swain counties and areas within the Qualla Boundary of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee following a landslide on U.S. Highway 441 that began on Jan. 15.

It is the second order issued by McCrory since he became governor.
