RALEIGH – The Crossings at Beaverdam has filed an application with the Certificate of Need Section of the N.C. Division of Health Service Regulation to relocate 99 adult care home beds within Buncombe County from Canterbury Hills Adult Care Home, which ceased operations last July 31.

A public hearing for this project will be held at 10 a.m. on March 17 in the Lord Auditorium of the Pack Memorial Library, 67 Haywood St., Asheville.

The project is expected to cost $11 million and to be complete in October 2015.
