Haywood Community College was recently delegated a 2015 Military Friendly School by Victory Media, the leader in successfully connecting the military and civilian worlds.

Now in its sixth year, the Military Friendly Schools designation and list by Victory Media is the premier, trusted resource for post-military success. The designation is awarded to the top 15 percent of colleges, universities, and trade schools in the country that are doing the most to embrace military students, and to dedicate resources to ensure their success in the classroom and after graduation.

“Haywood Community College is honored to be designated as a Military Friendly School for the 2014-15 year,” says Tracy Rapp, HCC director of financial aid. “Our veteran students and their families are important to us and it is a privilege to provide them with the resources they need to pursue a higher education degree at HCC.”

HCC offers more than 22 curricular programs with numerous diploma and certificate offerings. For more information about HCC, please call 828-627-4500.
