From the Web: Buncombecounty.org:

The County’s prescription drug discount program allows all County residents, regardless of income, age, insurance, or health status to participate. Citizens can save an average of 38 percent on the cost of prescription drugs. Even pets and family members living outside the County are able to take part in the program.

The card is available free of charge and may be used at all pharmacy chains and most independent pharmacies in Buncombe County and includes over 60,000 drugs in its formulary.

There are no eligibility requirements to use the drug card and the plan comes at NO expense to Buncombe County.
The card is available at participating pharmacies, all County offices and branch libraries or online at http://coast2coastrx.com/buncombenc.
