Carolina Public Press held its Newsmakers forum on the role of renewable energy in WNC, on Friday, April 21, 2017, at the Asheville campus of Lenoir-Rhyne University. Carolina Public Press Managing Editor Frank Taylor moderated the panel, which was followed by an audience Q&A. Panelists were David Neal, staff attorney with the Southern Environmental Law Center; Maggie Ullman, board chair of the N.C. Sustainable Energy Association; and Jason Walls, communication manager at Duke Energy. A recording of the live-streamed session may be viewed below.
