A conversation on links between higher education and the local, regional economy

Carolina Public Press held its Newsmakers forum on higher education and the economy of Western North Carolina on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at the AB Tech/Mission Health Conference Center in Asheville. Carolina Public Press Managing Editor Frank Taylor moderated the panel discussion, which was followed by an audience Q&A. Panelists were Western Carolina University Chancellor David Belcher, UNC Asheville Chancellor Mary Grant and Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College President Dennis King.
